Artist Christina Grimmie, who picked up distinction as a hopeful on TV singing challenge "The Voice," was in a basic condition after she was shot at a show in Orlando on Friday, police said on online networking.
Grimmie was marking signatures with band individuals from Before You Exit, with whom she performed before, when a shooter drew closer and opened flame before her sibling handled him at the Plaza Live music venue, the Orlando Police Department said on Twitter.
The suspect shot and slaughtered himself, police tweeted.
Grimmie was in a basic condition, police said.
